I gotta drop it off today to get the tank and oil pump cover put on. This time i'm guaranteeing that there will be no new scrathces on my plastics! If they find a way to scratch the front fender and undertail I'm gonna be pissed something wicked.

It sucks you can't trust them to not tear up your bike. I think I'd find another place to go.

I can understand that, I have a local place that takes really good care of me. I wouldn't let the local dealer wash my bike let alone work on it (at $72 hour labor rate).

Yeah I get hooked up at the shop. Those bastards that work on bikes don't know how to take care of plastics so I had to do it. It only takes about 15 minutes to do.

And I NEVER let them ipe my bike down. They use these crappy terry cloths and do it half assed. Hey, if I can do anything to prevent them from scratching my itshay, I'm gonna do it w/ a smile on my face...

Well I have a 'naked' bike with a matte black finish. My owners manual actually says not to wax it.:dthumb:

Hopefully they do good work.

Yeah, the wax would mess with the matte black. It would make look different shades and crappy.

All they gotta do is put the tank and oil pump cover on. Hopefully they won't f that up...

Some places suck, they wrecked my brother's katana at the Suzuki dealership he took it to and didn't say a word. Fairing cracked bad, bolts hanging out and not a word said. They didn't even apologize. He was lucky to get it repaired with no cost by the way they handled him.

Never do business with the Suzuki Dealership in Sevierville Tenn, it's right behind Mountain Adventures Honda.

Hope they don't ding the tank.
yeah the 2nd tank at that! even tho i don't think the first tank was the dealerships fault with the ding.

That was smart of you to take all your plastics off DL, but the dealership probably took it offensivly.

Hell yeah it was there fault. I'm boys w/ the service manager and I bust his balls about getting scratches every time I go. So I showed up with no plastics on it and he started busting out laughing. I said "What do you think I'm kidding?"
