Is anyone watching this show on FX? So far I think the real white parents are either racist or just ignorant. The daughter seems like she's alright, but I haven't seen much of her yet. From what I've seen, there is definitely a generation gap in the white family.

This will be interesting to watch the rest of this series.

I watched that last night and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the series play out. Based on the first episode, I think the caucasion family is out of touch as they admitted that they have almost no contact with any African-Americans. I think the mother and daughter are more open to the experience but the father is going in with the idea that racism is more prevalent depending on how you treat someone. I also think that the African-American father is constantly looking for racism when not in make-up. I think the most interesting part were the focus groups.

i think its great that they are trying to do something to bring awareness that there is stil racism out there but geez, maybe dressing them up as the opposite race isnt such a good idea...
