now that the weather is changing i am finally getting the chance to break in my leathers. i got them in july, so this is only like the 2nd time i've worn them. i was wondering if there is anything i can do to help break them in a little quicker. they are so stiff right now. how can i soften them up a bit? :help:

now that the weather is cold you have a chance to wear them??? best way to break them in? Wear them ALL the time even in July when safety is an "inconvienence".. Damn amateurs.. Bring your leathers up to Michigan next July and we will go orange barrel hunting and I will show you what its like to sit on I94 in dead stop traffic in 95 degree weather in full leathers.

No crap MP on the traffic jams in full leathers breathing down the exhaust fumes from all those A/C cooled cages... then they get pissed when you take up the shoulder to get out of it all!

you are taking shiiit out of context and not paying attention to the meaning of my post... either leathers or textiles should be worn AT ALL TIMES even when it is "too hot" or whatever. You fuggers riding around in your shorts and tank tops thinking you're all that are driving up my insurance rates when you bite it and you drive up my medical insurance rates too.. Playing with my money is like playing with my emotions smokey.. This thread shouldn't even exist. I am ashamed to even have replied to it. MFP. Breaking in new leathers you just got is one thing but breaking them in after you got them awhile ago and didn't want to wear them until it was cooler out is another.. That is unless a mesh is being worn or something but I am not getting that vibe here..

Keep it cool guys...

Itgirl... try the leather jacket conditioner. I purchased mine from a motorsports assc dealer and it was actually made by Joe Rocket, or at least bottled with that on the label!
