I've been on the both the XB9S and the XB12R. The R bikes have a more aggressive riding position more akin to a sportbike. Both have gobs of torque down low, but they run out of steam up top (Harley sportster engines). I think they redline around 8K, but I'm not positive. I haven't had the chance to ride either bike on a "fun" road yet.
