I want video of these SV650 wheelies!!!
am i the only person to notice that the original poster has yet to reply. i feel that your are more than correct to let an inexperenced rider know the ropes but to bash some one will not get that person to listen just to shut down. i would hope that a dealer would see this guy coming strait away and guide him to a more logical choice. most in this case go to a diffrent dealer untill they get the help and put on the bike they want. this is not what we want in our sport or on our roads. please guys think about what were doing here and give guidance and support insted of insults. :bash: :luck:
I thought GM gave sound advice.
Bigger people need more Hp to carry them but, that's no reason to go overbroad with the first bike.

i have the ones that were the first ones that i got into second gear in, (the kinda gay ones) opn my video player how do i put it on the pc?
A few of my buddies started with 80's bikes: maxim 750X, nighthawk 750 & the like. They are cheap, a reliable one is easy to find & you can easily buy a decent one for less then $1500 which is close to the price of a set of fairing on a sport bike, so you wont be afraid of getting in high expense learning wheelies & other things. They are bikes that you wont be afraid of dropping of damaging because you will be buying them for tryout & errors, after learning & getting some skills with those it will make more sense looking after something more expensive & '' explosive''.
Go take a riding course!!! You'll soon see that you won't need a BUSA or anything over 500cc's

:withstupi I still like my advice on the 1st page... normally 600 or less... give the extra 150cc's for being a bigger guy... but NOTHING over that...
and even limit the selection of bike for new riders. The new SB's are sick.
