First off :welcome: Biggallemore and :twfrox: ...Dude are you NUTS!!!??? I don't care if you have some rideing experience. a BUSA is WAY!!! too much bike for you right now. You will get hurt so fast I promise.
You need to start out on a 98-02 Gixxer 600, R6, CBR 600, Katana 600, SV650(S), or a new SV650(S).

you ride an 8 second stang on the street?...how old are you also, very important in my opinion on whether or not to recommend a busa to a beginner whith little bike experience... what kind of trap speeds you run in the stang, and what track do you run it at........

Hey man, :welcome: to TWF.

I'd have to agree with the things that SV and Jack said. Look around the "Beginner Forum" cause I know that I posted a lot about it when I was getting / looking into getting a bike. 20yrs old and a first bike being a 1300 is too much man. Honestly. You may get bored on a 600 fast, like I am and I want to get a 1000, but I still want to get better at riding it before I do that.

Your g/f should be talking some sense into you with this situation being that she already has a GSX-R600.

You can always sell the bike or try to trade it in for a larger bike if you get bored of it. Speed on a bike is no joke, it's much different than in a car. So I'd stay away from the 'busa for a first bike.

Like I stated, SV and Jack stated also, go check out the Beginner's Corner and you can even read the post in "Stunting" about the losing the rider.

or if u get bored with the 600 you could always just slap on a turbo. n add a little juice. now that there is a great idea. prolly end up dead if you did it but its still a sweet idea.

You know the dealer over here told me he can throw a turbo on my bike. I'm not too sure about it though. I'm gonna see if he'll let me ride his Ducati and see how it is with a turbo on it.

i was joking and would never actually recomend a turbo for anyone that wants to ride the twisties ever. i have seen plenty of vids of turbo bikes and the front wheel just never stays down becasue the dayme things build up that much boost and then WAM lets u have it. now if there were a way to supercharge a bike i would but its not possible. dont like the whole turbo lag stuff.

The guy with the turboed Ducati over here rides it as an every day bike. He has a Honda 954 that he has a turbo and NOS on but he does quatermile with that only. Even has wheelie bars on the 954
umm GRAF, I don't think you can't have turbo and nos, you can have a supercharger and nos.

( im not implying that you get a busa as a first bike)...to the original question, get a 90's 750 or a 2000+ 600, it'll move your weight, im 220 and the f4i gets me from place to place fast enough for my needs

ahh hell I don't remember anymore...its been years since I had the nos kit on my car. I used to be into all that $hit when I was into Euro'd out imports and all. None of that matters now. I have a bike  although i still have my sports car, and new truck.. but the bike is the fun one now and always will be, ya just can't replace a bike with another vehicle.
