I saw that Captain Morgan had a bad experience selling a bike on ebay. Has anyone had a good experience buying a bike on ebay or other on-line store? I've bought some used parts and was happy with the deal, but I'm leary of buying an old bike on line.

What kind of bike are you looking for and what price range??

I was looking at some exotic bikes, the Suzuki RG 500 Gamma and Yamaha RZ 500. Both are two strokes, modeled after the Grand Prix racers from the 1980's. They couldn't meet emissions here and were sold in Canada and Europe. I know that current 600's are faster, but that's not the point.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I lusted after these bikes. Plus, I have Castrol two-stroke oil in my blood, and probably some still in my lungs. The problem would be importing from Canada, customs, shipping, taxes and title, and of course avoiding a scam.
