CHP officers, tell me they can give ticket splitting lanes exceeding 5 MPH faster than flow of traffic, not exceeding speed limit.SpeedWerks.com said:It's legal to split lanes in CA, yes.
WHEN it's legal is open to some interpretation. The law used to read that it was permissable as long as the motorcycle was not going over 10mph faster than the other vehicles while not exceeding the speed limit, but that was changed to something along the lines of "As long as it's done in a safe and prudent manor", which leaves quite a bit of grey area up to a cop.
They don't drive any worse here than in Texas...At least here, if you get into a fender bender...it doesn't become a foot race to the border...Grafixx01 said:Is that for me Bee? Cause I've been to Florida, I know how they drive down there. So sayin' I'm nuts ain't that bad when people in Florida make right hand turns from the left hand turning lane and vise versa. Now that is just :screwy:
Hey now, they don't make a run for the border. Why do that when they probably don't have insurance or a license. But then again, that can be said for ANY state in this country so you can just put that towards Texas! I've SEEN FLORIDA drivers in the act, so I have first hand knowledge! :dthumb: :lol:bumblebee said:They don't drive any worse here than in Texas...At least here, if you get into a fender bender...it doesn't become a foot race to the border...
