Shan, I know exactly what you mean. I have flashes through my head where I sell my vette and subaru and buy a 100,000 mile warranty Kia, then fill the rest of my garage with bikes. :here:

Glad I'm not the only one with these "dirty" thoughts. :D

I would a Aprillia Factory.
I'm going to remember these words for the rest of my life!!

My Aprilia is great. If I had to be stuck with just one bike, that would be it. That being said, I really like the V-max for cruising and touring.

I'd really like to get something like an Aprilia RS-250 for the track.

Yeah, the V-Max's are really nice. The guy at work with the BMW also has a v-max. I keep telling him I'm going to take it out...when I do, I'll letyou know what I think Mojo.

As far as me liking the Goldwing, they rock for a tour. Now don't get me wrong I'm not going out and getting one tomorrow or nuttin.

Choppers, are way cool. Even Haz from WOS said he'd love to have a chopper. I'm not talkin nuttin stupid like some gaudy thing just a nice clean lowered chopper with a big arse tire in the back...

First off, :dthumb: to N4S for calling for a 10R.

But I'm going to have to go out for a long shot! I know I'm going to get cursed for saying so but I'd love to have a BMW tour or GoldWing for a mile stomper. Heck trailer my 9R behind a GoldWing to the GAP!

I know this will be against the norm here but I think it would rock!
I have seen this done, at the Gap actually.
It got allot of looks when he came strolling from Tn. on the way to the resort.
I missed out on this part but, they said he was dragging and shooting sparks from under his bike with the trailer in tow.
He pulled a custom trailer, t shaped with nothing but the rail for the bike and axel for tires.
Oh Yew; his sport bike was late 90's GSXR 600.

Let's see, there are seven days in a week.
So you need at least seven bikes (or more) :D

Choppers are cool. :cool::moped: :cool:
My next cruiser. I will personally build (assemble the parts) in the garage.
After complete, I would probably get bored with it and sale it. :sadwave:
Or at least that's what happened with the Harley that was parked in the garage.

Here's my .02.....

OK, First let me say, the original question posed was, "Can One Bike do it all ?". My answer to that is "NO". Now, me personally, I own an '01 GSX-750(Katana),'82 Goldwing Aspencade, and a '98 Ann. Ed. FXDWG. These three bikes are very distinct in how they ride, and the way in which they were meant to be ridden. If anybody here wants to question my manhood, cool, meet me at the Gap, and I promise you one thing, you may be faster, but I'm gonna make 'Ya work for it ! :bash: I enjoy riding motorcycles, period. Whether they are Dual Sports, Sport, Sport Tour, Tour, Dirt, or just anything that only has 2 wheels. OK, now I will return this thread.. LoL.. :leaving:

Personally, I think most of us agree that there isnt just 1 do it all kinda bike..but they are many bikes to do alot of things well. If I had the opportunity, you can bet I'd have my sport-tourer, superbike, and a dualpurpose/dirtbike.

but for now, the Kat is a great bike for most of that .. :)

My dreams came true. I have the bike which does everything for me. I don't do extremes - my riding consists of aggressive street riding, twisties, an occasional track day, and an occasional wheelie. My objective is simple - have fun and come home safe in one piece.

Boring stretch of highway gets interesting very quickly if you know what I mean.

If you are about to say it's not a good track bike - please don't. I am tired of laughing.

It even takes me to the track. Yep, I don't trail it. Just ride in. 3 years - year after year.

And, if you want to say "What if you crash at the track?", please don't. Because I will ask you "What if you crash anywhere?". Well, I ride to have fun, and push it to 60 - 70% on the street, and to 80 - 90% on the track. To me riding on the track is no different than riding in the twisties - just a lot safer: no cagers. blind turns, gravel, etc., etc. And, if it comes down to the worst, I am counting on TeamPromotion to help me out.

Anyway, that's it for me. The search for a perfect bike is over.
