this video shocked me, mainly because of the way the cars just drive around this accident and go about their business. no one stops to see if the rider is alright or not.

I kept watching that video. Each time I watch it, it gets more and more humerous. I guess i'm used to watching race track crashes with friends while getting stoned.

ow, dat gota hert...

I love how people just chill for a bit... then drive arround the right of the car... like... damn... that sux... oh well... :cursin: I'd be outta my truck or off my bike in a second if I saw a wreck like that!

That video really makes me mad because those ladies just can't decide what to do and every second that guy is down is a second too long. At least those ladies look like the intend to help, but those cars that drive around the car that hit the bike, those people are b*stards. If I see a wreck, no matter how important what I am doing or where I am going, I stop and check if everyone is alright. I am trained as first response through my job because of level of voltage and different dangers that come with working in a nuke plant, so I can help a little more than probably the bystanders in that vid.

that rider should have used more caution in their speed & attention to surroundings...that rider couldve avoided that accident.

That cager was already well into the turn b4 the rider came along.

that guy was scootin pretty good, I don't think he could have slowed down enough to prevent the accident, he should have been more alert and he could have swirved away from the car.

I guarantee you in every car that drove by someone had a cell phone. That's bullsiht!. I wish I could see what the rider was doing after he got hit. That's the reason why my girl will never ride a bike. She's taking the MSF course this week (5'3" 100 lbs.). She won't be riding a bike on the street as long as I'm around.

aww don't do that... or I predict she won't be your girl for long... if she wants to let her... I understand being protective... but bro... life is dangerous... just make sure she's geared up...:2cents:

No, she knows she's not riding a bike on the street. We'll see how the course goes. I've been teaching her some of the basics w/ the bike on the rear stand but she still has no concept of a manual shift anything. I've seen her drive a car...her instincts aren't the best. I'm doing it for her own good. She has a good enough time riding on the back with me anyway.

can some of us ladies get a little credit!! :help: LOL, ya'll are dogging us big time!! I love to drive, anything with wheels, my hubby used to take me SCCA racing and getting a bike was my dream for the longest time!! I drive pretty damn awesome!! Just dont get in my way! I agree there are some pretty bad women drivers...but so are some men!! And I'll agree there are plenty of stupid people out there that can kill me at any given time, but if I am doing what I am sposed to be doing and something bad still happens, my outlook is: at least I was doing what I loved, it wasnt from anything I did, and it was my time to go!! :angelhap: And hopefully my hubby will sue the pants off'em!!

I went and checked out my girl at the MSF corse today. I gotta say i was touched watching her ride a bike. Made me so proud of her. She almost dropped it coming to a stop once, but she saved it pretty easy. We practiced saving in our garage on my bike. i would hold the bike my the mirror bases and her feet wouldbe on the pegs, and i would lean it to one side or the other and she would have to shift to what evr side a stop it from leaning. She did good. She needs to learn to put both her feet down when coming to a stop. As much fun as it was to watch her, I couldn't stay because I didn't want to make her nervous. i was worrying the whole way home. But she made it and has one day left. Somebody else went down though. he was riding a Ninja 250. I guess he's alright. the bike suffered damged plastics.
