its hard to order gloves online unless u know ur exact size...if you have any friends who have gloves that you like, try their's on, and u'll get an idea of what fits and what doesnt...but all manufacs make a rainbow of colors..the rockets that DJ got, came in black, blue, red, and gray, and that was just at the shop we went to.

if you can swing it, its really good to get both styles of gloves, the gauntlet style offer excellent protection, but for everyday city riding, and in warmer weather these work great as well.

ask and ye shall receive.. if they work for you, thats all that matters, most people have more than 1 one set anyways, so if u need them,u'll have them..but either way, that fact that you have gloves to wear to keep ur hands intact, is the main part.

when u wreck, u consciously/subconsciously, try to keep ur head up from the ground, its a knee jerk reaction..so I can see how you could have gone down and ended up like that.

yeah, but dont u think it depends on what type of fall ur having...I agree that wouldnt totally try and stop with ur hands, but wouldnt u atleast try and put them down to aid in a roll, depending on the situation, lessen the initial impact.?

Oh, yeah, you'll use them to keep from rolling but you won't use them to slow down. You'll use your elbows for that.

It is just a matter of instinc not what you "think" you want!

ok, now were clear on this...thanks ! BTW, if this ever happens to me again, knock on wood, and my instincts arent the same as urs, ur gonna get it!

Really. Kangaroo was the strongest, with elkskin skin second. And here I am riding around with a little cows butt on my hands for protection. I never heard of the Kangaroo skin being used.

other parts of the world are alot smarter and more resourceful with this stuff, then us..

helps if u can break the gloves in too after you get em, before you ride. after I picked up my latest pair, i wore them around the house, making a fist and tyring to stretch them so they'd conform more to my hand...after a short time of doing that, they fit just right now,
