Hey guys, when is usally the best time to shop for gear deals?? I noticed that stores are already starting their close out deals..

I found a jacket I want that is on the closeout list, but was wondering if its too early to buy, do closeout prices go down even lower later in the season?

Found a fieldsheer mach 4 jacket reg price 179.00 right now on sale for 129.00?? what do you guys think?

I typically go for the closeouts first during on/off season. I would venture a guess that the best time to buy would be when the new models start to come. Many manufacturers release gear every year just like the motorcycle OEM's (Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawie, etc..).

I haven't seen "closeout" prices for gear go lower than their initial closeout amounts, but then I don't watch that closely. And you should reconsider Fieldsheer anything. Among all companies I have ever dealt with (inside and outside of motorcycling products) they had the most abysmal customer service/warranty, which was required b/c of poor product quality.

Yeah... the prices will go down as the season winds to a close but the selection will decrease as well... it's the trade off and gamble...

kneedraggers is going to be having there blow out sale soon. Theytald to keep my eye out for it. The nice thing is I can go in there and try this stuff on if I want anything. I think I might go for some text pants or a good pair of black touring boots. :dthumb:

I know ..I know...my current jacket is practically brandnew..but I did select "everytime I see something I like" on that "how often do you upgrade your gear" poll :lol:

newenough.com is always closing out something. Got a JR Reactor Sant Fe mesh jacket for 59.99 on closeout there. Check in with speedwerks too, theyre good people.
