I went and watched FSU beat Auburn tonight here in Tallahassee - good game.

I also watched snippets of Missouri/Harvard, UM MSU on TV

I was hoping that LSU would pull it out over Rice, but their rally fell short.

I played 2 years of college ball, any other college baseball fans?

There is no better college baseball atmosphere than Alex Box stadium.

LSU has had probs closing games this season. Lack of urgency. They didnt get ahead of Marist till the 7th and ended up winning 14-5. But it was tense till then. Well i cant remember a Baton Rouge regional that LSU hasnt made it out of so theres hope yet.

Who are you pulling for this year snake?

I always like to see LSU do well, but I think their talent is down a bit this year and some guys like Matt Liuzza have been in a slump. Louisiana teams have been great all year LSU, ULL, and Tulane currently sits no.2 in the NCAA rankings.

I generally root for Texas A&M or LSU b/c that's where everyone in my family with the exception of my brother and I (U of Florida / Florida A&M) went and it's who I grew up watching.

LSU lost its first Baton Regional in 17 years. This has been a year of bad firsts for us. Look at florida snake, theyve gone to super regionals. Forgot who theyre playing though. I'll look around...

Did anybody just watch the ASU Fullerton game? To end a game on a lame, seriously controversial Balk call is terrible. Ive pitched till my second year of college. Never have I seen a crappy balk call on an intentional walk. As far as I saw, the pitcher came set, and threw the ball. The third base umpire, not the home plate umpire, called the balk. WTF?!?!? :cursin: I admit, Im an ASU fan. My opinion may be a little biased, and ASU probably shouldnt have let it get to that situation. But to end a playoff game on a crap balk call is just frustrating. :upset: Oh well, ASU still has a chance...

Missed the game. I saw up to the CSF home run in the second. Ending games like that kills everyone, no real momentum to either team just a kinda "uh ok" game over. Thankfully its the best out of three.

Asu Goes To Omaha!!!

What a great series, no matter the outcome, between CSF and ASU. ASU goes on to play Nebraska in Omaha. My girlfiends WHOLE family is from Nebraska. Big Red Through & Through for most of them. This is going to be a great series at least for me.

Huskers can pitch, Devils can hit...my kind of matchup.

GO DEVILS!!! :redevil:

Um, I HATE baseball with a passion. Sorry if I offended anyone. I like contact sports (ie: LACROSSE [first and foremost favorite], football, ice hockey). I played Lacrosse since I was in 4th grade, broke some peoples sticks and body parts with the "croked-arrow" wooden shaft, but hey, don't like the game sit the bench! :2cents:

I also played Hockey up until my juinor year of high school. Basketball and football were more recreational leagues for me. Contact sports are always fun! Fortunately, I like/play most sports. Baseball just happens to be the one I like/play the most. Just got into LAX when there was no hockey. That is a contact sport! Had season tix to the Arizona Sting. Never a dull game. Too bad they lost to Toronto in the finals... Trust me, I get people telling me why they hate baseball all the time. Its nothing new. Good thing I like most sports... :2cents:

Baseball is a game you have to know, to like. The games within the game... pitch selection, matchups, base running, fielder position, its not ACTION NOW WOW like some others that are interesting even if you dont know whats going on.
