A 10-year-veteran police officer was killed when her motorcycle crashed Sunday afternoon.
Lynn Pormorski, 40, was riding with her finace when she lost control of her motorcycle at about 4:30 p.m., Local 4 reported. Police said she crashed into the rear of a car at Lilley and Ann Arbor roads in Plymouth Township.
She was transported to St. Mary's Hospital and then taken by medical helicopter to St. Joseph's Hospital in Ann Arbor where she was pronounced dead, according to police.
Pormorski patrolled Highland Park with the Wayne County Sheriff's Department for the past year and a half, Local 4 learned. :sob:
