Another dumb excuse to stop a legal biker. If you don't have an up to date insurance card, they can impound your bike. The parishes down in Louisiana looking for some more money, and trying to get it from visiting bikers. Of course, the cops wind up being scapegoats enforcing these rules. Besides checking your bike before you ride, make sure you have license, endorsement, insurance card, registration, and safety inspection (if your state requires it).
