Friday! 3 days, 4 hrs. and 15 mins till I get my new 06' 600RR.. I can't wait!! I'm finally going to be selfish. For years I've given things up for others, but not this time. It's all about moi! I know we've all given s**t up before, but when I think back on some of the crap I've done for ppl and the things I've lost because I let them push me into doing so, I see over 6 yrs of lost time, lost friends, lost jobs, etc etc.

But now ladies and gentlemen, I'm gonna go out, spend $7k's on something I've wanted since the new 600's came out. Not only am I getting the bike but a friend of mine is going with and he's also getting his. That's what makes it even better. That I'm going to do this with a friend. I also went today to check on insurance for the new addition and I was surprised to see that I'll be paying $600 a year, full coverage, $250 deduc. with and a 1 million umbrella. WEE! So while I was there, I just had to check to see how much it would be for the 1000RR. That wasn't to shabby either. That would of been about $700 a year, same coverage.

So, just cuz I want it to be Friday, I can bet my ass that this week is going to creep by slower then a Katana. <~J/K! So the next big purchase will be my house. Then I can come back on here and be a doofus yet again, wriggling and grinning ear to ear like an idiot.

SF wouldn't quote me because I wouldn't take out an auto policy with them. Then I asked them to quote me for a auto policy. They asked who my current insurer was and I told them USAA. They told me right away, oh we can't even come close to them....sorry. :wtf:

I don't know yet. Turn it into a track bike, sell it. I don't know. The ex bought it for me, and truthfully, it's one of the last things I want to look at any more. She's a great bike, loved her from day one, still do, but it's time for me to upgrade and move on.

Well HECK! the "new bike" week end fell through.. To many things came up that can't be avoided. But I was thinking yesterday at work that no matter if it's this week end or not, since it is January and it's not like I'll get to go out and ride any way. I would just have to walk past her everyday on the way to work and drool, wanting to take her out and break her in. So, we decided that we'll wait till late Feb. That way it's closer to spring and besides, it's not like they'll run out of stock.

You should buy it now and then mod it out in the meantime.

I was just wondering how many miles you have on it cuz I was curious. I like asking people to see how long bikes will run. The most miles I've seen was on a Busa. 68,000 and then 47K on a 95 GSX-R 750.
