I use to have a pair back when they first came out. I use to rollerblade X games style and they had them at a local skate shop so I bought 'em. They came in handy when falling on my hips. Never thought about them for riding though. I suppose they would be good, aside from the severe swamp ass created by yet another layer of clothing.
