i read the article briefly that was with that picture and i believe it said that the cat had been seen by specialists (vets or something i guess) and they all agree that this was indeed some sort of birth defect. but it was in the strange but true column in my paper. guess it depends on whether or not you believe everything you read.

A photo of an alleged sex offender named "Brian Peppers" surfaced in my office today. The picture was obtained from the ohio sex offender website.

The picture looks too gruesome to be real.
