Watching the superbikes do the quick 15 lap race was odd. Aaron Yates does so much blocking he might as well be an offensive lineman for Mladin. Loved the pre race Hodgson interview, he is a good guy. Looking for a good season from him. Hopefully he can help EBos get straight on that Ducati as well. Good open to what I hope is a very good season :dthumb:

I see a very distrubing fact with these stats...

Even though Kaw has seriously stepped up their production bikes...they are still lacking some seriously GOOD racers!!! You can see that in their standings! Just as the "best 1000cc bike thread", the racer/rider is a HUGE part in winning!!!

Of course it is. Look at MotoGP. Rossi leave Honda, jumps on a blue POS and wins another title. It's a lot rider...a little bike!!!

Well, I guess Hayden's, all 33 of them, are a good step for Kaw but not the answer to everything. I think alot of the other manufactures still have better racers! Tommy Hayden is the best one out of the whole family. Kaw is just hoping that the other brothers end up as good... I think they may be banking a little too much on 1 family!

Gas, the problem is that the Kaw's in the superbike class are NOT factory teams, going up against the factory Honda and Suzuki teams. Kawi Factory IS in Superstock and Supersport, which is why they do well in those classes. Don't blame the kawi riders in Superbike, they have the talent, they just dont have the backing. Josh Hayes on the Attack Kawasaki (basically one step up from privateer effort) is a hell of a rider, but his bike is not up to par with the factory rides of Duhamel, Mladin, etc etc..

i like the results

Im really kicking myself for missing the races. :cursin: Thanks for posting the results! As much as i like the yoshimura team, i always root for the kawasakis. I think it was eric bostrom that rode his old ZX7R for all its worth and was competitive against better machines, that made me a closet fan.

POD, I don't remember where I got that image!

I understand that they may not be factory backed but alot of the big guys aren't factory backed as much as they are backed by Yosh or M4 or whatever. Hell Michael Jordan backed is doing better than most of the factory backed teams!

I'm just trying to point out that Kaw has been lacking for years.. the bikes are just now sense 04 getting to the point of being competitive and the riders need to step up along with Kaw and work at beating the Suzuki's of the world!!

And yes, it would suck for your little bro to wiz by ya!!!
