When is it? I live about an hour away and I usually go to Indy on most weekends.

I think the dealers usually know most info before. These shows might be the first time for all to see the finished products in person. They also show & tell the public about the new stuff too.

Dealer Show February 18 - 20.
Asides from getting the scoop on the new stuff and getting the first glimpse on prototypes, you'll also get to rub elbows with the celebrities in the motorsports industry.
Everytime I've attended there are racers mingling and making themselves available to the public.
There's also alot of schmoozing going on. In addition, there are privateers that will be there securing sponsorship or looking for it.
