Hey what crime college do you think this genius graduated from???

LEE COUNTY — Deputies say they nabbed a burglary suspect they found snoozing in a running truck yesterday. Troy Andrew Mackellar, 34, was arrested on charges of grand theft and dealing in stolen property.

The investigation began Monday after an employee at CC Glass and Mirrors reported a weekend burglary of 50 sliding class doors, valued at over $92,000.

The employee then contacted Garden Street Iron and Metal, where he learned one of the scrap yard's regular customers had just brought in a number of aluminum door frames for recycling. The man received $400 for the scrap metal.

Investigators say a tip about a suspicious person lead them to Mackellar, who was found sleeping inside the cab of a box rental truck at 13701 Cypress Terrace Circle in Fort Myers.

Deputies woke Mackellar up and learned from a background check that he was wanted for parole violation.

Investigators searched his vehicle and found bolt cutters and other tools in the front of the truck. In the back of the truck, the found broken glass, weather stripping, and sliding glass door installation instructions and labels.

The labels, combined with the remnants of the aluminum door frames, were identified as those from CC Glass and Mirrors.
