This weekend was a charity benefit for Keith and they had two jackets donated. The bids on them were on like $30 each so I bid on the Frank Thomas and got it for $85. Its a large but Im going to exchange it. I knew it was worth a lot more than that and I thought I would help how I could. And ayway I gues better to have it than not, right?

BTW, Benefit pics...

thats awesome Jenn! seeing everybody pull together like that!
Its always a great thing when we get to hear about and see that everyone pulls together to help out as much as they did that day. :dthumb:
That's great news. Get that jacket sized and saddle up!
THanks for sharing the pics Jenn! Looks like it turned out to be a wonderful event. It was great to hear that Keith opened his eyes when he heard the bikes.
Thanks for looking and caring! Soo many people came out to help because they care about him as a person. It was great. Im glad he opened his eyes too, though I was not there for that. I live an hour in the opposite direction so I had gone to see him BEFORE the event and then headed home while they went to see him.
Hey piggie, thanks for asking. Not really much to report, he's in a "vegetative state" now. According to the blog site he is getting an improvement in his therapy because they are going to be able to sit him up to do it and that should help. They said he even made a groan noise. I personally heard him do that before and have seen him move his lips in a talking fashion as well but I dont know how much to read into all of that.

It breaks my heart, I pray every day for a miracle. It's in his hands and Gods now. No matter what I will love him until my last breath, and then into eternity. I cry a lot and pray more than I ever have before because no one ove known deserves to recover more than Keith.

Thrills, we all are pulling for Kieth! That much is 200% sure! Don't doubt that one bit! He'll pull out of it and you guys will enjoy another ride together!

Please keep us advised on his condition. I ride for him and others that aren't able to. I think about it often! Give him our best!!!
here's the jacket I got. I took it back to cycle gear and they let me exchange it for a ladies small (it was a men's large) and while I was there I picked up some Frank THomas leather gloves too.
oops pic

Thanks for your kindness, Keith would be touched. He has a bigger heart than anyone I know yet he would be sooo amazed at how many people are pulling for him! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

You and Keith do what you have to do to survive and be happy together. :luck: with everything. I'm looking forward to hearing more good news!!!!!!! :dthumb:
keith and I werent together at the time of his accident, for me he is "the one that got away." I just want him to recover and be there for his little girl and find happiness like I had with him. I love him truely, deeply and unconditionally and that means Im there always even if its just as a friend.
Sorry about that. I may either messed up or just poorly stated. Even in that effect, I know everybody that is around him is feeling the bourden of helplessness that has to be overqhelming. I wish everybody well. We can only hope that it will continue to get better.

We all really enjoy hearing all the good news. First good news for Kieth and then some for Roger! It's good to hear these tough guys are going to beat the odds again!!!
Oh no biggie I just dont want to step on any toes somewhere along the line by giving anyone the impresion we were still an item, though I had hoped to someday get back together.

Anyway, I've lost my brother and my cousin who was raised as a sibling and ive been through a divorce and none of it compares to the pain of this situation :(
