are you having idle or low rev problems? did you add a pipe or replaced the aircleaner (remove airbox)? what symptoms are you having? i maybe able to help your jetting questions. also, how does your plugs look like? white/dark/burnt up/wet? engine surging? burbling at WOT?

Alrighty... I just got home and am anxious to get back to my bike,so in short I've been foolin w/ the carbs and whats left is a "lean spot" right off idle, when I'm pullin away from a light,It wants to die unless I keep RPM's up over 2.5-3K's,I also had a problem around 3-4K's at steady cruisin speed but I seem to have that one covered by raisin the needle a slot, but when I did that i also had reset the screws back to standard 3 turns out(leaner than before)I shouldn't have done two things at once but...I'm goin to givem another 1/2-3/4 turn back out and see what happens, problem is that usin the syncro gauges and settin them by the cleanest RPM's,you can't tell, once you back the screws from the cyl starting to miss,as Dynojet recommends, once you get only a turn and a half out the adj. dosn't seem to have an effect so I gotta go by trial and error riding the bike...I just thought that the pilot circuit seemed to be the trouble spot for both problems...off to the garage...I'll let you know...

When I see posts like these, it makes me glad I have fuel injection. I just hook up the laptop to the PCIII and upload a map and I'm done.

Good luck with your carbs JEKYLL

Oh,well,la ti da,smell me with my fancy pants computer crapola... No I'm just kiddin...I know when I bought the bike,I was like...I like tunin the carbs,but...:cursin: It's not as easy as a Holley used to be...Anyhoo,I need to get in touch with Dynojet and see what they have to say.I e-mailed them a week ago but no reply yet.Ijust took it out a couple o minutes ago but no changes, see I'm not sure if it's lean or rich at the trouble spots, more investigating to do!I wish they sold some type of air/fuel meter that was portable,I could hang on the bike as I rode through the rev. spectrum and see what circuits are doing what:crazy:
