Being very mechanically uninclined, I dare not do much to Renee, apart from clean her regularly. For anything else, she goes to visit the shop, where there are people who know much much more than I do, and will do things without breaking bits and pieces, like I would..:bonk:

Pretty much everything but mounting tires. I have tire irons, but the last time I used them there was so much cussing the neighbors brought the kids inside and my wife thought I was gonna have a stroke.

I use to operate one of those when i worked in a garage. Those would scratch the hell out of a MC wheel won't it?

Nope. The shoes are coated and you use a rim saver when you first pull the bead over the mount/dismount arm. There are also plastic shoe covers and a plastic arm available.

Yeah Mojo... but only the goods have the coating that lasts... twisty had one and the coating came off and started scratching rims...

I recoat mine with plasticoat regularly. They also have plastic shoes, but those break a lot. I've pulverized the set that came with my changer.
