Because I haven't posted in this thread, here it is.
I use hand signals!
I don't bother with keeping the factory stuff and the after market stuff is a pain to take off for track days.

When Im in traffic I signal all the time if rolling at pace.
If surfing traffic on the highway I don't bother.
When riding with others I try to signal all the time.
I have seen first hand what happens while traveling 100+ and a rider decides to make a left turn. (not pretty) :nonod:

I signal if my lane change will affect another driver or rider. Otherwise, I don't bother.

I think thats the norm for most car/bike.
