and I'm with ya on that JK...I never had anyone really want to steal my old SV. I don't think the SV is high on the theifs list.:2cents: :lol:

I have an alarm made by Nady (link below). It is terrible, sometimes I can get on the bike and move it and it doesn't go off. Other times I have laid my jacket on the bike and it sounds... Don't buy one.

But at night I park my bike (under a good cover) in my privacy fenced backyard, where if the gate is opened I have a chime inside the house. So I can greet any would be bike nappers with a rather large revolver.

combine a lock with a lo-jack. Then when you see where you bike went, you and 20 of your biggest friends can go get it back.

I use disk lock and cable locks at different venues but generally on normal simi local ridding. I only lock the bars.
