I've been looking into this, but its so dam expensive..

"AP Racing master Cylinders feature an adjustable leverage mechanism. This allows the rider to tailor braking forces. In addition, adjustability allows the user to use a multitude of calipers of varying sizes.
Available for super motard, dirt, and road race applications. In single or dual bore configurations (two separate masters; one lever).
Equal line pressure to each front caliper. Separate system ensures the rider can stop even in the event of a line or pad failure."

^from the site www.gptechllc.com

anyway. i really like this idea for my fast bike (safe, great braking) and for my streetfighter (run two seperate lines cleanly instead of a big Y). the piece is 1200$! doesn anyone know if there is another manufacturer of such a thing? i really want to get one or two of em, but i cant afford that.

It sounds like a good set up...providing they can be tuned together so one doesn't overpower the other...I can remember back in the stone age when I used to run dual point distributors in my 440 Super Bee and GTX and in my 426 challenger what a PITA if they weren't tuned together...

I would think the two straight lines could be a problem...With the "Y", even if the pressure in the two feeder lines was unequal, the pressure below the "Y" would be constant going into the calipers...H3ll, what do I know?? I'm an accountant...you should ask Roach or LarryG...

When I went from the stock rubber lines on my 9R to SS braided lines... it went from a Y to 2 seperate lines stacked and I NEVER had a problem with un-even braking aka pull.

I remember when those cars were common. My friend had a 69' GTX with 440 4-speed, around 4.11 rear, and premium was $0.32. Yahoo! But speaking of multiple points, My 79 GS1000 came with dual points, and my 75 GT750 had three sets of points.

what kind of lines did you get? and did you keep the stock master cylinder?

I was looking into getting spiegler SS lines, but I know there is some others out there.
