So we had talked to another area club awhile ago about getting together and doing a ride. Well tonight we finally did it. 17 bikes in all. We took a run down to a great little spot in Toledo called Tony Packos. It was cool to meet some new peepz and take a decent ride. Weather was good, food was good, ride down was good. Then the ride back there was an unscheduled piss stop in the weigh station and it all went south from there - construction up the arse down to one lane, a trek up the on ramp the wrong way into oblivion and then back on the freeway but I noticed one thing - we went from 17 bikes down to 6? Everyone knew their way back though so it wasn't a total disastor.. Great ride in all though I think.. Turned out well and I think it will become and annual event now.. It was good to mix it up and expand our horizons a little..

It was a blast! I really had a good time, even with our little piss stop and construction mishap.

I am really looking forward to many more of these...

I have a few pics that I'll post up soon...

Guys.....ummmm....how come this is the first time I heard about a get together between WOS and the other group - after the fact? Was this on Wednesday night, because there was no turnout to the usual Hooters run? That might explain it.

WTF?

There was nothing posted on the WOS site about this. Others might have been interested in coming that would have made it a larger turnout.

Or, was it a 'private' ride?

??????????????????????????????????

As I said on the WOS board...

This was something that we tried out and therefor made it a WOS member ride. Every once and a while there are things that WOS has to do to make being a member worth the member's time and money. No offense to other people... you all know that we include everybody on nearly everything including garage days, track days, rides, and events. This is just one of the events that was going on in the members section that somebody that's not there heard about...

Cool, and as mentioned on WOS, I read about it right here!! MP was the source.
Yes I was the source and the one who set up the whole thing. It was a mutual decision by the club to keep it club only - it was public knowledge on the Redline side. There is more than enough opportunity - like 99.9% of the time where non-members can join us. I personally think it should be alot less than that because why is someone who doesn't pay dues or contribute anything to the club reaping the same benefits but whatever.. Yes you can 100% blame me for not including anyone except WOS members on our "private" ride..

Gasman post the pics you took when you get a chance..
