Mille=Italian for 1,000.Tweety said:V-twin vs CC?
Mostly trying to figure out where an Aprilia RSV Milie fits with the cc bikes.
:scratch:600, 750, 1000, 1300 :scratch:
I like the styling of the MV and Ducati better than the Aprillia. They look more "exotic" and I'd rather the MV cause you (or at least I) haven't seen any on the road in the US. But it's cool cause Gas Man said he's gonna buy me the Tambourini when I buy him two 10Rs for his birthday, the MV will be my birthday present! :lol:JK_DILLA said:Aprillia turns you off? :scratch: The MV is way nice but that doesnt make the Aprillia ugly.
As for V-twins in general, most common in sportbikes are 650ish, 750ish, and 1000. The 1000cc motor being the most popular. Ducati has made or makes everything in between. When you get to the other types of twins: Parallel twins and boxer twins, it varies more. :2cents:

1000's are most popular in urban settings or the plaines
in mountian or canyon areas its the 600 that rules
dont you think there should be more 750's
your right ive got 4's on the brain :scratch:pickle.of.doom said:We're talkin v-twins here bro, no 600'sI think you are thinking I-4's. Can't think of any 600 Twins.. Monster 620 is close...

twisty said:Im sorry Tweety. Mille means 1000 in Italian. The Mille Factory is also the best Twin ever made and my fav bike.:sorry:
I know, i meant thier sportbikes. The RSV's, falcos, etc. Still their RS 2-strokes are sweet too.twisty said:Yes! But since Piaggio bought Aprilia, and they have plans to bring motors back in house from what I heard. But I think Rotax has being making motors for Aprilia since the 70's so I think that is more hot air than anything.
Also Aprilia makes more that just 1000cc bikes.
I like the Pegaso. :wink:JK_DILLA said:I know, i meant thier sportbikes. The RSV's, falcos, etc. Still their RS 2-strokes are sweet too.
