[Need4Speed]

I know my job can be somewhat boring, especially late in the evening when things die down and most people are just chillin on the net, or chatting with a co-worker. Did u ever nod off on the job? or worse yet, get caught doing it?

Nopers! Never fell asleep on the job....I always had a job that required me to be on my feet and bust my arse. So I was always awake. My hubby and <coughcoughmattcoughcough> sometimes fell asleep at -----(name of employer excluded) sometimes... :redevil: :lol:

I sleep every morning from 6am to 8am. I have my own office so I shut the door and go nighty night. I have been caught but who cares anyway.

I catch 2 or 3 people every month working on the 11 to 7 shift. Sometimes in the building, and sometimes out in their cars. Came in about 4:30 one morning and caught 2 naked in the back seat in the parking lot. The result is always the same...they go bye, bye.

I wish I could, but they were both fat and ugly. (he and she) I can still see those two, 300 pounders bouncing around in that Camry when I close....wait, oh! my eyes!!...My eyes!!

Too funny.. My ultimate sleep job was when I worked at a hotel - couldn't get caught.. I worked afternoons so from 3pm-5pm I busted a$$.. Then lunch from 5pm-5:30pm.. 5pm all the bigshots went home.. I was already done with my shyt.. So I went into the maintenance crib and watched movies or slept - just lock the door and only I had the key.. I had a walkie talkie and a phone to wake me up if anyone needed me.. Worked out well for late night partying, etc..

I had a similar job and no lock on the door.. I had just finished snowblowing and salting after like a 100 hour week.. My boss has the balls to tell me that she promised someone that I would tile their floor.. I said ok let me go get the stuff and I will go over there.. So I go down into my office in the basement and I sit down - first mistake.. Next thing I know she is tapping me on the shoulder saying they called 2 hours ago and they are all pissed off.. lol.. I slept for like 3 hours.. DOH!

LOL.. never been caught! When I was pregnant... I used to put a blanket and a pillow under my desk and go to sleep. I had a HUGE office and when people would come in looking for me, they never knew I was under my desk sleeping. :lol:

oh ya, almost every job I have had.

Gas station - gaveyard shift friday and saturday, there was allways two people working, one for the self serve an one for the full serve. we would just close down full serve and that person would get to sleep, go out to a party or go home. as long as you were back by 6:00. Then we would just switch the next night. It worked great.

GM - if i got a big break in the line i would lean back in my chair and stick my legs out in the ailse. When there was a job coming the agv would hit my legs, stop and start beeping or a few seconds, then start moving. That was usually enough to wake me up. Usually.

My current job - well its a desk and computer job and we all know how easy it is to fall asleep here. Just lean back and doze. When someone wants you up, you either get a tap on the shoulder or a paper ball square in the face.
