Let's try not to turn this into a "I bench more than you" jacked thread!!!

Fatburg and I started to touch on this subject so I figured I'd start the thread....

What do you take to enhance your body and/or workout???

Fatburg said he takes Whey...

Whey is good stuff...but try Pro Complex...it gives you all 3 types of protein so you don't have to constantly change types. It also has 55 grams of protein per serving instead of 33 grams in the Whey.... And their both from the same company...

Also, taking some prior to a workout is good, but within a hour after your workout is a must... You need the protein combined with water to rebuild the muscle you tore from your workout!!!

Thanks Gas, always enjoy hearing about others workin out (hmmm, sounds a little gay doesn't it :skep: ), keeps me motivated.

100% Whey Protein Baby :dthumb: I used to supplement a little more but now that is pretty much it.

I grew up power lifting through highschool and loved it. Went seriosly heavy at the beginning of this year and topped out at a 350lb bench, I weighed about 245 at the time. I have taking up running and took 6 months off and am back at it again but weighing only 190. I think my bench would be about 255 from my workouts. I have some diffenent goals now that I'm getting a little older. My goal is 185lb @ 10%b.f. which is gonna be tough cause I love food.

So what's everyone else into?

I hear ya on that Fatburg...

Twisty, I know you're talkin that but I'm seriously considering Animal Cuts combined with Animal Stak.

Can get it for about $50 for both on your VitaDigest site. Which is about half of retail cost...

Stay away from Ripped Fuel. When I was a Valet we use to use that to give us a little boost. Its bad stuff! Although it could have also had something to do with taking 5 of them on a day. :bash:

But honestly I dont get into the supplements too much.

I did R.F. for a while, your heart feels like it's gonna jump out of your chest after workouts. great pump tho, but if I would miss my workout I couldn't sleep

Never heard of that...but thanks for the note!

I'm pretty new to the game but have been listening to alot of people and doing some reading on the stuff. Supplements are pretty cool and can do alot for you if you're exercising right!

Thats why we woul duse it, it helped get our heart rate up for all the running we would do. However I agree, many times it felt like I heart was ready to explode it was going so fast.

I also use to take Weight Gainer in college (attempting to gain some weight since I was very light). I would take the stuff with every meal and it did nothing. I think my metabolism is just so fast.

Now if I am going to take anything its usually all natural. Protein shakes with flaux seed has been best. Otherwise just a glass of cranberry juice with a tablespoon of falux seed. But everything is going to work different for each individual.

I've slipped quite a bit this year, but I was cycling 150 miles per week and lifting weights on occasion. Right now my work out consists of chicken wings, beer, and getting my freak on. :D

If you want suppliments, check N02. GNC carries it and they have books there on it. . the same guy that made creatine made N02. It's nuts. . the closest thing you can get to steroids safely.

yeah, I stay away from ephedrine if possible. I don't like to take too many things that do that because of my heart condition. But it sound interesting...

NO2, suppose to be desent stuff. Allowing you to get more blood into your muscle, kinda like Creatine does for water into your muscle. Again, not sure about the No2 for me...

Universal's Animal line is what I like and have heard nothing but good things about. But as Ace said, everybody's bodies re-act differently to different stuff. That's the problem when these supplements cost so much...

http://store.yahoo.com/vitadigest/lipo-6-ef.html

The Lipo and Vitrix are by Nutrex. The Pumptech is made by Muscletech. I take this stuff along with a multivitamin. I also do the protien thing too. Whey and also meal replacements. I created this stack on my own and without trying to be a hard a$$, my size has grown a ton in the last two month. I use to work out all the time and took about 2 years off. Well, that size came back in a hurry. I know some of it's muscle memory (there really is such a thing) and it's also due to the supplements. Plus, it's my workout routine. Everyone is different and it's very important to experiment. What works for me in the gym may not work for you. Example, I'm a low rep guy. 6 reps per set only. I also limit the amount of movements. Say I'm doing check. Some will do flat, incline, flies, etc... a bunch of movements. I limit my to 5 sets and 2 movements. Like I said, all are different. My friend "D" does the exact opposite because it works for him and he's big and ripped (sounding gay now!). Also, arms...always were a problem for me. Couldn't get them to grow then read about a pro bodybuilder who says basically that you work your bi's and tri's during check, shoulders and back so when it's arms (bi's and tri's) day, go easy and don't do a ton.....worked for me. Like I said, experiment. Every body is different and will respond different. So, that's my story and those are the supplements I use and I'm very happy with them.

The Animal stuff I'm talking about Animal Line

Not a :chill: but worth every cent!

Thanks Gas Man and Twisty for bringing Vitadigest to the table. Been buying from Netrition.com for years but just did a comparison.....Vitadigest is cheaper. Only a few bucks but it all adds up in the end.

resituate myself on the couch and pick up the remote in a different hand.. :D well, somebody had to say it.

Just dont seem to find the time, everytime i've tried a gym or working out with someone, they either inevitably quit for one reason or another, or have to as well.
