:help: i have an 04 gsxr 1000 that i laid down a few weeks ago. now i've got it put back together and it won't rev up past 6000-6500 rpms. i've heard of a reset, but am not familiar on how to do it. any help would be great. thanx gsxr jocko.

The only reset I've heard of is the tip over reset but nuttin beyond that...

turns out that the exhaust control valve for the midpipe butterfly was stuck in the closed posostion not allowing the bike to rev any higher. just diconnected it and will have to live with the f1 light being on.

sounds like time to jam it open or get a full system exhaust on that bad boy!
