Clif notes: someone in a Cleveland area hospital is trying to perform a face transplant (read: face off with one living person with ****ed up face, gettting a donor from a cadavor{dead person} ) they are looking for a victim ....err volunteer to undergo the surgery with all bills paid for. they have to meet a certain criteria and not be mental looney-end cliff notes:

Its for badly disfigured people that wouldn't normal even go into public with out something completely covering their face.

What I read and saw on TLC was only the worst cases will be considered. The burn victim they showed as a canadent could really have a major life improvement if it works.

They have already successfully transplanted noses, chins and lips from cadavers.

the first thought that popped in my head was the impact of the donors family seeing the "face" of a loved one on someone else?

That was the main subject of the show more than if it could be done. They want to make a special donor forum for this.
