Favorite types and dish?

Mexican (guiso rojo/chili colorado)
Creole/Cajun (Ettoufe and gumbo)
Italian (anything w/ a bolognese sauce)
Thai (red or green curry)
Indian (lamb vindaloo)
'merican (steaks, burgers, wings, etc)

But, the best meal I've ever hand by a landslide was at a French restaurant in London. I had duck and don't remember much else b/c I think I blacked out from it being so good. lol

Wish I knew about whatever place that was when I was there. The food I had was horrid in London.

There's actually some great restaurants in London. . as for the typical english food, though, it's too bland for me. I ate at a Bangladeshi place that was awesome, quite a few Indian restaurants, etc. Still, London may be my favorite city I've been to.

The best food all around for a city, IMO, is New Orleans. Nowhere else is even close. 2nd it would be a toss up between Chicago and New York, although oddly enough you can throw a rock in any direction in Scottsdale and hit a good restaurant.

Bohemian (Had the BEST food in the Bahama's..It wa shark but it tasted EXACTLY like Lemon Pepper chicken...I thought that's what it was until they told me what it was after...lol)

I've had shark quite a few times, good stuff. . But yeah, Jamaican and Bahamian food is great. :thumbs:

Shark is good... had it at the beach years back. Didn't know what I was eating until my friends dad told us.

I am picky when it comes to food.

Chinese (Chicken & Broccoli or the Veggie Lo Mein)
Italian (Fettucine Alfredo)

I LOOOVE Seafood though! I'd take that everyday!!!

I'm not a big fish fan, but I like shell fish, shark, marlin, and dolphin/mahi mahi. As for trout, catfish, etc. I can't stand it.

Chicken Monterey and velveeta potatoes!
Flank Steak marinated in french dressing too!!!

Big ole beef guy myself. Steak,potatoes, burgers, dogs, you name it. Chicken on the grill is great, actually pretty much anything on the grill is great! Im not hard to please..seems as though these days, eating out is more common for me/us than making something at home.

Pickin steamed crabs / crab legs and an cold one, is always a treat as well! :cheers:

Cajun/ Creole food is like hamburgers here.. good but also everywhere. You really need to find a good place to make it stand out.
I had a blackend catfish in New Orleans that blew me away! Wish i could remember where. But between Mandinos Muffalatas and sushi, im happy.

Im not into sushi like many of you are in here, just doesn't do it for me at all, but I have atleast tried it.

However, italian food, definately, everything from spaghetti to lasagna to manicotti and everything in between. Yep, bring it on !!! :drool:
