On my K1200RS electronic cruise control rocks on those long trips
Close second would be heated grips for those cold nights and days. Surprised me, how well heated grips can heat your whole arm on cold days :)

Definately heated grips..I've never owned a bike with them, however, I've ridden an interceptor that the owner had them installed on..and your right, they kept most of my arm warm..surprised me for sure...I like the cruise control as well...I also like the ease of installation/removing the hard saddle bags...instead of a big ordeal, just take a few minutes and remove them, and bam!! instant suit case right your hotel room.

I know more and more bikes have a separate odometer that activates when you put your tank on reserve so you know how many miles you have gone since you flipped the switch...real handy Im sure.

This sounds dumb, but I like an adjustable windscreen. I'm 6'3" so I like to be able to adjust it.

I do agree, however, with the heated grip comments.

It doesn't sound dumb, for someone that tall, it will help to be able to raise it or lower it if needed. :)

The only thing my CBR 1000 has that the sport bikes don't have is a center stand. It's one of the few things that keeps me from getting a sport bike.
Grab a Katana..LOL...i know what you mean though..center stands are so handy for maintenance and detailing.

Another vote for heated grips. I had them on my VFR and LOVED them. Second would be a mapping GPS. GREAT sport-touring accessory!

How about a GPS that's also a HUD? Wouldn't that be a neat concept? Have you ever seen a MC with a HUD? Heck, they come on Pontiacs, I'd think they wouldn't be all that expensive.

Heads up Display

they are actually available to buy... just saw a place that had em this week... they are not bouilt into the helmet yet though, but u can add em and its got a piece that sits in the helmet at the bottom of the visor...theyd definalty be nice... track days would be cool... see hte speed beofre u hit the corner take away any looking down if u do that... i know i like to go with just the feel... but going on looks and feeling alone is prob not as smart as making sure the speedo tells ya u are ok to corner at your current speed. they are aobut 550$... not cheap... i wont buy one yet.. no need for the technology at that price.. if it hit 150$ or less i htink ill buy one.
