OK, so I was getting that urge today while riding down for a pack of smokes. I decided to get on it a bit since it's a nice day out. started out from a stop, and smashed the throttle and hit 100 mph in just over 4 seconds, so I was pretty happy.

Yeah yeah I know its crazy and not the safest thing to do, but in my defense, it's a paved road, off a main drag, no lights, stop signs or houses, for 1.5 miles or so. I never ride like that in traffic and be a nuisance or cause problems for other drivers..but ya know, sometimes ya just get that urge to open it up...hence my screen name

0-100 in just over 4 sec. Now that is some serious moving and speed. I have yet to try to just open mine up and see what it can do but I will be trying it soon.

Yeah I have done it too.. Not the brightest thing and most accidents "happen closest to home" blah blah blah - tell it to the judge, etc. because when you get the itch and your trigger finger needs some speed it just happens.. I have done it a couple of times - like when you change the oil or something in your shorts and t-shirt because it is 100 degrees out and you decide to take it for a "test" ride to check for leaks, etc.

I've done that up and down my neighborhood street. In my case it was 110 degrees.

oh yeah..u have to test ride it every time, just to be safe
