Well the day finally came. I completed the Safety Course this past weekend and I was waiting for my leathers to come in before I picked up my new bike. So today I got the call from the shop and I went down to get my gear and my bike. WOW! I am hooked, I couldnt stop riding despite the fact that it was 98 degrees and I had my leathers on. I had a blast even though it was around town. My bike is a 06 Kaw ZZR 600 and it is perfect for me. I was a bit cautious at first but I quickly bonded with the bike and I think it may replace my fiance at some level. All went well cept for this lady in a cage that was riding my ass. I pulled over and let her pass, I caught up with her at a stop light up ahead and she was yelling at me for doing the speed limit  It was obvious that she was pissed for some reason so I ignored her until she told me to get my "bicycle" off the road. I then decided that it was time for the finger. So, I flipped her off and let her drive away. At that point I realized that its not hard to ride its hard to predict and look out for the *******s in the cages that share the road with us. I have always been cautious of motorcycles on the road and it just shows that people dont care about motorcyclists because to them we are just "bicycles" taking up their space. One last thing, it was nice that every motorcyclist that I past gave me a wave. Kinda cool I thought. Thanks all, ride safe. :twfrox: :twfrox:
