It said Water proof and Yes it is Universal fit. It say Size Large. I like the mirrors were thought of in it's design Without that it would have not fit. It has a central clip and strap on the bottom you can notice it a little right by the center stand where it is pulled in a little. ANd also cam with a storage bag that is small enought o put in my backpack and not take up all of my room. It might be a good deal.

I had that exact same cover for my SV...My X girlfriend bought it for me for a Xmas gift a couple years ago. Well it only lasted one winter outside. The material faded and cracked away with big holes all over. So...like the X g/f I pitched it.

I'm sure the cover would have held up alot better if it was kept in the garage.

I rode to work and it ended up raining the whole day. :cursin: Wasnt suposed to rain at all. So that is why I got one. If it only costs $20.00 a year to keep her clean and free of rust. Then I am getting my money's worth. :dthumb:

It might end up being "A $20.00 Cover"

I will find out in the first wind or rain it goes through.

I have the exact same cover for my VFR. The fitment is about the same, slightly loose in some spots but overall pretty nice. I use it in th egarage at home. I used to use it outside but have since moved. It held up to the winds, but it's not really waterproof. I would leave my tank bag under it and the next day have to replace my map. I did leave it on over my tank bag one night when it hailed nickel sized and I have abosolutely no dents or anything. I now use it for a dust cover. In the rain it makes the water spotting worse. Worth the $20 but....

Actually most Wal-Marts (for those don't avoid wal-mart) now have a Motorcycle isle back in the automotive. heck they are even selling helmets, Bell, but it's a start. It's also the cheapest place for Mobil 1 MX4T oil I have found. I aslo picked up a bungee net for the tail for like $4.
