OK, so I keep seeing these goldwings and such riding down the highway with their high beams flashing away... like F'in crazy!

What's up with this?

I know it's probably to get the cagers attention and it probably works well because it's getting my attention on the other side of the h/w.

But it's got to be illegal as $**t! Not to mention highly irritating if you were driving/riding in front of these clowns!

Anybody got a link to whatever they're using?

What's your take?

Snakemann...what's the legal standpoint in FL on this? I sure would think it's not good being it looks like a cop coming...

it seems like it would be impersonating a safety vehicle... It seems some people would pull over thinking you were a cop bike or something... and then be pissed off when you go by and aren't... Then you get a pissed off person in a cage that is now right behind you instead of right in front of you... which when people get pissed they tend to ride your ass, try to scare you, whatever... So really this thing makes riding more dangerous in my eyes :D

It's legal in FL , just not at night , "316.405 (1) ....."During the hours of operation between sunrise and sunset, the headlights may modulate either the upper beam or the lower beam from its maximum intensity to a lower intensity"

It only applies to motorcycles, not cars
