German-made Held gloves are considered by many to be some of the finest motorcycling gloves, better than Alpinestars or Dainese. Actually, the only gloves I'd wear are Held and Ku****ani gloves although I'd like to try the Vanson and Helimot track gloves. These are also kangaroo leather and have Kevlar reinforcement, which is why they are so pricey.

But $200 is not EXTREMELY expensive for high end gloves. I tried on many $200+++ A* gloves!
