Greetings,
I am new to this forum, so hello to all.
I am selling my R90s because I am no longer able to ride it. (back injury).
I have been riding for over 35 years and sadly it's time to stop.
The BMW is Daytona Orange, is a 9 out of 10, and is stock. I have a few mods (deep dish oil pan, stainless braded brake lines etc.) but have the original parts.
The bike lived in Oceanside Ca. untill it came to me in 1997.
It has the original tool kit, MANY spare parts and memorabilia. I would like to sell it all together.
This is the model that Reg. Pridmore rode (73,74,75) To the National Superbike Championships. It is very nice. I have kept it in like new condition. It was adult owned. I have documentation back to 1988. I have the original Ca. Plate.
I can not say enough about how well this bike rides/handles, and I am sorry to have to sell it. I only rode it 300 mi. last Summer, and for someone who has ridden over 150K miles to many Ralleys Nationwide, I must say it will be sad to see it go. It needs to be ridden. If anyone is interested, I will send photos.
It is rare, has the original ceramic BMW logos, and hand pinstriped tank, faring, seat and fenders. The front fender has a few small stress carcks, but I have a new NOS painted fender to go with the bike. I will include a new windshield of buyers choice. It also has the original Krauser bags. I am asking $5500, but will let it go for less to a good home (someone who will ride it). Ride Safe.
Thanks, JIM
