I found out the hard way that on my old RF900RR. I got almost 21 miles when I coasted into the gas station to fill up. And on my 600F3 I did it 3 times in the same spot on the highway. Coasted up the ramp after it shut off on me and into the gas station after about 27 miles on reserve.

Reserve light on both my BMW's give me 1 Gal on fuel Have verified this :thumbs:

most I've chanced it, is 15 miles on reserve..and I was keeping my fingers crossed the whole time till I came upon a decent gas station ...I'll run out, and call someone to bring me gas, before I stop at some nothing, grocery store gas place with colored water coming out of the pump :shock: .
