I just filled up my bike for the first time last saturday. It was bone dry (a drawn out but funny story :leaving: ) I think at the time it was $2.65 for 91 octane. I filled it up to the top, and it only cost me a whopping $7.95or so. Quite a difference from a cager! Im sure $8.00 is expensive for a bike though.

nevertheless, I dont think the prices will affect my driving/riding at all. Seeming that the bike to me relatively new, I want to ride it all the time. No, I dont see the prices affecting my riding much.

I can fill the bike up twice and go farther than the truck on a full tank and it still was less the half the cost. To fill the bike twice is about $16.00 to $20.00 and to fill the truck once with Reg is about $45.00 and up. The truck gets about 300 miles a tank and the bike is about 168 miles to the tank. So Gas is hif=gh yes but on the bike your still beating the high cost issue sort of.

:iagree: My bike costs about $8 or $9 to fill up and i can go 168 miles or so before the low fuel light comes on (if I'm taking it easy) My truck costs $45 to $50 to fill up and I can go 380 to 420 miles on a tank before Low Fuel starts scrolling across the screen. The bike gets so much better gas mileage.

I still use my friends' Ninja just the same as ever but gas is definitely affecting how much I use my cars. I own a Ford Expedition and feel like crap when I have to fill the tank every week. Last time I filled the tank it was $74.10. My friend who owns a Suburban spent $135 to fill his. Even my New Beetle isn't cutting it anymore at $42 to fill the tank. Bikes kick ass, period.

Im new to riding but I can tell you that the gas prices only further my desire to ride. Cost me $50 to fill my car up and if im lucky it will last me a week. Gas for me is about $2.79/gal.. Seems like it is dipping down a bit although 91 octane will run you $3.00/gal.. :cursin:
