yeah about as crazy as some flintoid making love to a tonaue cover.. make sure you clean the jizz off before you take pictures there Gasman..

I paid $3.16 tonight for gas - $37.00 to fill my little V6! :cursin: :cursin: :cursin:

This whole gas epidemic is BS.. I am tired of it. What can you do? The fugging gas stations did NOT pay extra for the gas I am pumping now so why am I? It is complete BS.. Its not like the liquor stores can start charging $80 per case because it is a holiday weekend or a thunderstorm that they call storm of the century hit the budweiser factory vicinity.. Whatever.. If I ever figure out a way to fug over these oil tyrants and their greedy bastard friends I will tear their world apart.. because YOU'RE A LIAR, A FUGGIN LIAR, I'LL TEAR YOUR MIND OUT AND BURN YOUR SOUL. My new mission in life is to fug over the oil companies and make them suffer 100x what we do everyday.. They are hitting us in the pocketbooks and I am not going to take it anymore.. Its time to go Tony Montona on their fugging asses.. :cursin: :cursin: :cursin: :cursin:

LMAO, always find it amusing when this guy gloats and goes into unecessary details of what he owns. "my '05 4x4 V8 Tundra". LMAO Surprised did not go into detail of Leather, 6 disc changer, bla bla bla.
The tonaue covers will make a difference, and a more noticable difference with highway driving, it reduces much wind drag caused by the tailgate. To increase CAFE ratings several makers are considering including built in covers or lids on some P/U models. It has to come OEM when vehicle is produced in order to assist in the CAFE ratings. Can't be aftermarket.
Mr. Engineer. Also installed snug top on my 01 Chevy S-10. Guess what no improvement in gas mileage  OK maybe 1/2 mile per gallon. With vacation home 850 miles away, get plenty of chances to test for freeway mileage ;)
Gasman thinks he is going to get 5 to 6 miles per gallon better with tonaue cover  have a bridge I can sell him :dthumb:

yeah, but how long have you guys been paying those kinda prices? you can't just up and triple the price of something overnight without raising peoples' salaries as well. it's not like it's a gradual increase. we're getting spanked with it.

Also...look at some of the prices of gas around the world:

The main driver of price disparities between countries is government policy, according to AirInc, a company that tracks the cost of living in various places around the world. Many European nations tax gasoline heavily, with taxes making up as much as 75 percent of the cost of a gallon of gasoline, said a spokesperson for AirInc.

In Venezuela, on the other hand, oil is produced by a government-owned company and local gasoline prices are kept low as a benefit to the nation's citizens, he said.

Netherlands.. Amsterdam.. $6.48
Norway.. Oslo.. $6.27
Italy Milan.. $5.96
Denmark.. Copenhagen.. $5.93
Belgium.. Brussels.. $5.91
Sweden.. Stockholm.. $5.80
United Kingdom.. London.. $5.79
Germany.. Frankfurt.. $5.57
France.. Paris.. $5.54
Portugal.. Lisbon.. $5.35
Hungary.. Budapest.. $4.94
Luxembourg.. $4.82
Croatia.. Zagreb.. $4.81
Ireland.. Dublin.. $4.78
Switzerland.. Geneva.. $4.74
Spain.. Madrid.. $4.55
Japan.. Tokyo.. $4.24
Czech.. Republic Prague.. $4.19
Romania.. Bucharest.. $4.09
Andorra.. $4.08
Estonia.. Tallinn.. $3.62
Bulgaria.. Sofia.. $3.52
Brazil.. Brasilia.. $3.12
Cuba.. Havana.. $3.03
Taiwan.. Taipei.. $2.84
Lebanon.. Beirut.. $2.63
South Africa.. Johannesburg.. $2.62
Nicaragua.. Managua.. $2.61
Panama.. Panama City.. $2.19
Russia.. Moscow.. $2.10
Puerto Rico.. San Juan.. $1.74
Saudi Arabia.. Riyadh.. $0.91
Kuwait.. Kuwait City.. $0.78
Egypt.. Cairo.. $0.65
Nigeria.. Lagos.. $0.38
Venezuela.. Caracas.. $0.12

Now minus Venezuela who's oil is produced by a government-owned company, look at the price of gas in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. I wonder why the price of gas is so cheap there as well??? :nonod: :nonod:

I will tell you this... the EPA at least in Michigan have revoked their summer gas (RVP rating restriction) limits. This is suppose to lower the cost that it takes to make the summer gas which is better for the tree huggers.

I will see soon enough what milage increase I get...maybe I'll be wrong and maybe I won't be... time will tell. I have been lucky to drive the company truck all week!
