TEXAS CITY, Texas — A thunderous explosion tore through a BP oil refinery Wednesday, shooting flames and billowing smoke into the sky and showering the area with ash and chunks of charred metal. At least 14 were believed dead and more than 100 were injured.

Yeah, we were talking about this at work a little bit today... haven't got the REAL DEAL story yet... will eventually...

But those refineries are VERY VERY dangerous... just like the Marathon one in River Rouge, MI.... there is sooo much going on... and the places usually aren't kept up or maintained as well as they should...

This is typical BP crap!! They and alot of other companies run some shady outfits. Honestly! I see it all the time... go to one of their facilities and I'm just amazed at the condition of the equiment (as in bad) and the lack of modern day technologies that my company has had around for years!

This is the second big explosion at that refinery..

Texas City is the site of the worst industrial accident in U.S. history. In 1947, a fire aboard a ship at the Texas City docks triggered a massive explosion that killed 576 people and left fires burning in the city for days

So it's not a good deal... when I hear something I'll post up...if I can...

Well, on the MSNBC link I posted there is a video you can watch that is pretty good!

But here's my :rant: !!!! They talk about how the refineries are working above capacity!!! :nonod: I don't think so!!! That is a crock of crap!!! They are fine and jacking the price is bull****!!! I'm sick of them using every little thing to jack the price.... F'in stock traders bull :rant: :cursin:
