what kind of top speeds are you guys on 1000's getting in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear at revlimiter or redline?

and how about on the 600's...

The ZX10, GSXR 100, and R1 all will with stock gearing. The 1000 RR is just short of it.

If I lived in the California or Nevada desert area, I could probably glance at the speedometer when I'm accelerating to redline. But I live in an area with dumb SUV's and sneaky police, so I keep my eyes on the road. My stock pipes don't start to bark until 8K, so when I hear it I know it's soon time to shift. And after bringing second gear to redline, I'm well over any speed limit, So I hit third and short shift to fourth. When the magazines test bikes they use a computer to tell them the speed and time.

But who cares? I'm too old to brag to anyone on how fast I went. Anyway, the only person who would listen is my wife, and I would never tell her how fast I go.
