The U.S. didn't go into the middle east for oil. If it wasn't for the U.S. nations like Saudi and UAE wouldn't be 1/3 as rich as they are.

As for being left alone to practice their religion. . that sounds read nice in a classroom, but that's not the real world. People around the world are left alone to practice their religions. The difference is, they can do it without bombing subways in Japan, trains in Spain, holding school kids hostage in Chechnya, bombing Paris, hijacking planes, and knocking down trade centers that are the nucleus for western world.

By the way, the U.S. had nothing to do with Zionism, you can take that up with someone else.

So like I asked and like you so carefully avoided, as usual. . do you think it's a coincedence that Iran is being more cooperative after Bush got back in office?

I see what you're saying though. . we could just leave them all alone and they'll mind their own business. Terrorists, or freedom fighters as I'm sure you'll call them, would be living productive lives if it wasn't for us. They'd be teaching mathmatics in school instead of blowing schools up and it's all our fault because we're just the big ol' meanie U.S.A. We've liberated more countries than France and Canada can even pronounce, but yeah, we're the bad guys.

I particularly like the part where the Greeks started vandalizing the Truman statue during the Olympics. How quickly people forget.

So, forgive me if I really couldn't give a shyt less what the rest of the world thinks. I've been to Europe almost 10 times, I went to East Berlin before the wall came down, Scandinavia, UK, and everywhere in between, and I used to spend weeks at a time in Rotterdam. It's safe to say I'm not some gomer that doesn't have a clue. One day you'll understand that the only thing some people understand is force. It's been like that since the beginning of time, and it will stay that way.

"Hey Adolph, no problem, have Poland. We just don't want to hurt your feelings." 1 month later. . "Hey, what are you guys doing on Champs Elysees. . planning on staying a while?"

Right.

PS- If you're going to respond, answer my question about Iran, this is the 2nd time I've asked it. Thanks.

That would be cool. . I don't really have a pro team. Had season tickets to the Chargers when I lived there, never saw the Dolphins when I lived down there, and the Cardinals in Arizona are so bad they should just forfeit for the rest of their lives. Actually, so should the Chargers and Dolphins while we're at it. lol

Most people here are Dallas fans, but I never liked them .. still, it's nice when OU players go there since we get a lot of coverage. People went nuts when Roy Williams went there.

You don't like Staley? He's doing a pretty damn good job, and it's nice to see Betis getting some action again.

Avoided another question I see. Stop pointing fingers and answer a question.

You won't b/c you can't. You know I'm right, it's just hard to finally realize that the world is not a wonderful place. I used to think like you Ted, I have threads in the CF archive to prove it. You have to let your way of thinking evolve.

PS- I know your name isn't Ted, but you'll continue to be Big Ted over here as long as you keep trolling like you're doing in this thread. :D

Eric.

He has about 40 names on various forums, and he's caught in bullshyt lies quite a bit. . but he says those are internet rumors, even though I've caught him personally on another forum and called it out. Isn't that right Ted? :D

Answer the first question. . the one about Iran you keep avoiding. Speaking of brainwashing, aren't you a Scientologist? :D

I said the EU, I know who's leading the talks. I asked if it's a coincidence that the talks started working since Bush got reelected. Iran told the EU to piss up a rope and said they're not going to stop their enrichment of uranium. Then, magically they changed their minds. . it's not like the EU offered any new significant incentives.

The Mullahs have everything to lose, it's not a question of what they can gain.

On a side note, Japan found a Chinese sub in their waters yesterday. That could get interesting.

The middle east didn't tolerate the last two invasions, big deal. Iran was unwilling to negotiate until they knew there was muscle behind it. Yeah, they have a 20% unemployment rate, but they don't give a crap. Do you really think France, Germany, and England alone were able to pursuade progress in those talks? lol

I don't. . if you do, then we'll just agree to disagree, and I don't have a problem with that. Thanks for answering the question in a straightforward manner.
