I wear gloves everytime I ride for safety reasons, not just colder days. I tried ICON gloves first but they didn't last all that long. I bought a nice pair of kevlar gloves which are 100% better.

Any Joe Rocket in the $30 range should be good for ya.

$30 isn't much for any gear... in that price range I'm not sure what to tell you.
they are gloves GM..not anything big...you can find $30 gloves at any motorcycle shop...they may only last like my Icon's did...but for 30 bucks...who cares. :2cents:

hell why not go with the $1.99 jersey gloves from Meijer.. lol.. or maybe do like this one Kaw rider I know does and ride gloveless - skin graphs aren't half as bad as they make them out to and who knows you might get a hot nurse.. better yet just don't go down.. lol..

I had some Gel gloves or something - they were $24.99 at the local m/c shop.. they have millions of variations..

Fatburg, nice gloves :dthumb:

I ride with my Answer MX gloves right now But I have a nice leather pair of Gel riding gloves for the cooler temp days. MX gloves are the most comfortable glove made. :2cents:

I didn't want any fancy gloves, just the best. In abrasion tests, kangaroo was the strongest followed by elkskin. I bought a pair of comfortable elkskin gloves at a feed-supply store. Now I sweat like a pig and ride 90 percent on the streets with lots of shifting and braking. I usually ruin a pair of gloves in one year. These elkskin gloves are on their third year with very little wear. I think they were $20.

If you already have a pair of gloves, the best thing to do is actually get a pair of liner (check out the winter/snowboarding glove liners) which can be bought for $10 or less. They'll keep you warm and you won't need to spend more money a new pair of gloves.

I have a pair of ICON Tarmac V2 (I believe) which are nice but are not really protective and the fingers started to fray a little. I also have a pair of the Joe Rocket Phoenix 3.0 with the carbon fiber knuckles and they are very comfortable and do protect you in a wreck as my buddy found out. He had the same pair but in black and they held up awesome, only ripped a little on the palm. They are actually still able to be worn. I am getting a pair of the ICON TiMax short gloves for X-Mas just because I want a pair of leather gauntlet gloves.

I have a set of Power Trip grand national gloves-no gauntlet-(I like the jacket over top of the glove)-they have decent protection on the palms(check pics at your fav. store)and I've seen em' for 35.00 although I paid 50.00! I'll tell you though I've talked to R/D guys at the stores and, when put on the spot ,they admitted there's not much difference between high and mid priced gloves,in the areas where protection counts most-the palms-!!!Due to cost and grip/control issues (they cant be too thick)most gloves offered don't have the kevlar or other materials that VERY high dollar racing gloves have...anyhooo go to your local stores and try em' on!!! you can get liners too that way one glove for both seasons...

I bought some JR Atomics for under 35 a while back, they are nice leather and have lasted about 6K miles through the summer, but I don't know how warm they are...I wear snowmobile gloves when the weather gets 45 and below here...
