I dont really think that is anything new. I am sure on weekends they patrol like crazy because there are so many people there. Durring the weekdays (tuesday-Thursday) last year it was not all that busy. To be honest riding the dragon is only part of the experience. We learned last year there are much better roads with big sweepers etc that are a blast to ride. So 1 or 2 runs through the dragon and then out onto the other roads is best. Hopefully durring next week there wont be too much traffic or po po in the area. But after seeing many cars and bikes cross the double yellow last year maybe some patrol is needed. Sure it sucks for those of us that ride on our own side, but better than one of the wreckless hitting you and ruining your entire trip.

We have lots of other areas were going to explore and ride, doesnt sound like the Gap and surrounding roads are going to be much more than a putter. :flush:

It seams like no one has had a great deals gap experience yet this year! I got hit with the rain a few weekends ago (ruined the whole trip), Jeeps got harrassed by the cops, and WOS is gonna get smashed with rain tues, wed, thurs, and friday. I hope all goes well for you guys tho. I will be back to the dragon in a couple of weeks with the FZ1's to try it again.

I am looking at it now, it looks like so far... you guys will be good sunday, monday, tues poss. t storm but i think u'd be ok, wednesday ok, night rain, thursday rain all day, friday spotty rain showers, then sat and sun ok.
