You can always email me directly at [email protected] for prices. We can't always browse the forums during the day, but we're always here to help. And, I agree with Gas Man. Goodridge. :)

Guessing nobody uses Speigler.

Is there a big performance diffrence between kevlar and SS lines?
I can't remember why but I know I was told that the kevlar stuff sucks... maybe somebody can clarify!

they say that kevlar will degrade over time from the UV rays of the sun. Read it somewhere need to change them every 2 yaers. It suonded like B.S. to me .But when I did mine , that stuck in my head & i used ths S.S.. Between the S.S. lines & HH pads breaks were transformed AWSOME ....

Re brake lines: I put Russell SS brake lines on my Suzuki in 1980 and they still look and work fine. Galfer will also make custom lines, like for those Honda's with linked brakes.

Re HH pads: Terrific brake pads for the street. I put DP (Dunlopads) HH pads on the front of my Honda. Much better than stock. EBC and SBS also make HH pads.

Re sintered pads: Metal pieces, usually copper, are disseminated in the mixture during manufacturing, and heated to form the brake pad.

You guys are right... But I only use Gafler on my bikes!!

If anybody wants to know more about the brake pads. I can call my buddy who runs a brake dyno lab... he has a pretty cool job... he puts brake setups on a dyno and creates a "run" the simulates certain environments... then runs the setup till the brakes or something else in the setup fails! Basically he gets paid to run this giant dyno and break stuff... :dthumb:

I have kevlar on my 900 and SS on my Canyon...they feel about the same, but I like the look of the kevlar better...never had any problems with either, and the kevlar ones are at least 4 years old...

My Ford truck is 37 years old and only has 137 thousand miles on it. It has only had 4 or 5 brake jobs.
How many mile do you have on the pads and how hard do you ride? :seeya:
